The Department of political Science was established in the year 1983-84 with B.A.; (HEP) with a sanctioned strength of 30. Now the Department is well established with the following facilities.
1. Class rooms: The department has LCD Projector and OHP mounted class rooms to introduce various online lectures on different topics. The department is also using PPTs and ICT based material.
2. Library: The departmental library is established to provide learning resources to the poor students and make them aware of entrance examinations, public service commission, defense examination and research programs. Now the Departmental library has 650 books with 250 tittles. Importance of Studying Political Science

If we want to know the present, we need to know the past. Studying Political Science subject is very important to the society. Especially Political science students can achieve success in competitive exams to greater extent. So, Students will know Current Political awareness, Debates, events and Adventure, which inspires them a t lot in their own life. Studying Political Science helps develop critical thinking and creativity skills.
