The Department of Urdu lays emphasis on the interdisciplinary job oriented education in Urdu. It provides an atmosphere, which helps the student in developing his intelligence, organizing ability and research aptitude. The Department also aims at developing the importance of national integration through its study and research programmes. It also provides an atmosphere for the development of creative talents among students.
This Department is the first in Chittoor District, offering Urdu Medium Programme with Job Oriented Training, and providing the students Training in DTP Urdu. Our students are pursuing higher education like M.A (Urdu, Political science, History, Journalism) and B.Ed.
The Department of Urdu is offering an add-on course, Diploma in Urdu Computer Calligraphy and D.T.P., which is useful for employment Purpose.
This Diploma Course contains Urdu Inpage, MS Word Urdu, Urdu Unicode, Urdu Google and other Applications of Urdu and Information Technology. In this Diploma Course, each qualified student is given The Diploma Certificate, one Software CD, and Course Material, Urdu Book and Video Lessons on Usage of Inpage and other related useful material.
