DEPARTMENT OF SERICLUTURE

   Sericulture is an important branch of Biology or Life sciences that has very good opportunities in the fields of academics, research having very good employment options. The Department of the sericulture was established in the year 2021. At present having 1 guest teaching positions catering the academic needs of the student community studying sericulture as one of the optional subjects in their Programme. The department is handling the CZST. Programme in CBCS pattern with Chemistry, Zoology & Sericulture technology combination (C.Z.ST).

    The Department striving hard in encouraging the students of sericulture in building the good academic career with the required curricular inputs and by organizing co-curricular activities like Student seminars, Quiz Programs, Field visits. The Students of sericulture are also encouraged to participate in the Extra-curricular activities organized by NSS, NCC and other different clubs / cells of the college.
