A Brief History:

The Department of Chemistry was established in 1984. At present it is offering four UG courses with 3 regular faculties. This is one of the strongest science departments in terms of strength and activities. The faculty members of the department are actively involved in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Equal emphasis is given for both theory and practical in constructing the intellectual assets of the students.
