The Department of Botany started in the college with the introduction of B.Sc.(B.Z.C) group in the academic year 1997-98. From the day of inception the department has been rendering services continually for the betterment of the students. The department utilized the services of stalwarts in the course of its academic journey. The alumni have been in the varied fields of earning; some in Government sector and some more in private sector. The vertical progress of the students is well encouraged and motivated since the beginning of the students and so students are well interested to join PG & B.Ed. courses in various Universities.
